This itinerary is designed to train professionals capable of managing and promoting gastronomic heritage as a key resource in tourism development. Faced with increased competition, digitization and growing consumer demand, the sector needs innovative profiles that integrate sustainability and creativity in the creation of differentiating tourism destinations and products. Moreover, in a context where sustainability is a central axis, this specialty responds to the need to promote gastronomic tourism with a responsible approach and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
You will learn to enhance the relationship between gastronomy and tourism by creating unique experiences, gastronomic routes and differentiation strategies in target markets. You will master the management of gastronomic destinations in areas such as wine tourism or olive oil tourism, ensuring a balance between tourism development and environmental sustainability. CETT International Support
We understand the challenge of living in an environment that is not your own, the CETT-UB Campus offers you the International Relations Office (ORI), as an area dedicated to orientation, advice and attention to international students in the master's programs.
The team of this area will provide you with relevant information related to logistical aspects of life in Barcelona such as registration, the processing of the foreigner's identity number (NIE) or finding accommodation in the city.
Formalities related to your academic stay
The ORI team will provide you with updated information on the procedures to be carried out once you are in the city, guiding you on essential documents such as the foreigner's identity number (NIE), the municipal census or official registry or the university card.
Languages
If your mother language is not Spanish, the ORI team will provide you with advice on how and where to learn it. They will also tell you where to learn Catalan, which will facilitate your integration into daily life in the city. In addition, you will be able to strengthen your Spanish through the certified courses offered by our Language Department at CETT-UB. On the other hand, if you want to practice any other language in an informal way, you can participate for free in our language exchange program between CETT-UB students.

During the Master's Degree in Innovation in Tourism Management you will have the opportunity to do internships in top level companies and institutions with the aim of acquiring new skills and applying the knowledge learned in the Master's Degree.

Curricular internships
- Paid professional internships in national and international companies.
- They are divided into two periods of curricular internships in CETT application companies or in collaborating companies.
- Minimum duration: 225 hours of training each
Extracurricular internships
- Professional internships in national and international companies.
- Since the first course, you will be able to do voluntary internships to develop a qualified professional profile and gain experience.
- Maximum duration: 900 hours each course
